According to , there are no plans for a managerial change even in the aftermath of last week's disappointing loss at Bournemouth, which was followed by a capitulation against Chelsea on Sunday. THE BIGGER PICTURE

Cole Palmer's cool panenka penalty helped sink Spurs at the weekend but Postecoglou's problems run far deeper than just one London derby defeat. His team have been extremely inconsistent throughout the 2024-25 season, and have failed to kick on from their emphatic 4-0 victory at Manchester City in late November, drawing two and losing two since that brief high point.

  • WHAT THE TELEGRAPH SAID

The Spurs hierarchy isn't panicking yet, according to The Telegraph. Correspondent Matt Law wrote today: "understands that Spurs are not planning to hit the panic button and are focused on doing everything in the club’s power to help Postecoglou and his players turn around the situation… While recent results have been a disappointment, there is recognition that Postecoglou’s progress has been affected by an unfortunate run of injuries to key players, many of whom have been in the same position such as central defenders Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero."

    WHAT NEXT FOR SPURS?

The games continue to come thick and fast, with the North London outfit facing a trip north of the border to Rangers this Thursday night. Tottenham currently stand in 9th place in the Europa League table while their Scottish opponents are level on points but a place higher due to goal difference. It's vital that Spurs stop the rot with a positive performance and result.
