Ronaldo was banned for an obscene gesture he performed after hearing supporters of Al-Shabab chant Lionel Messi's name to taunt him earlier this week. He was subsequently handed a one-game suspension and a fine of 30,000 Saudi Riyals (£6,300), but he was in the stadium to watch Nassr play Hazm, and fans made sure he heard their appreciation.
