Real Madrid have stepped up their interest in Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Hugo Larsson. According to , the club have sent scouts multiple times over the 2024-25 season to watch the midfielder in action, and he could be a potential addition in the summer as Xabi Alonso looks to revamp the squad.

With Toni Kroos retiring last season and Modric not receiving a contract extension, Real Madrid appear light on midfield options. With Alonso set to take over from Carlo Ancelotti, the new manager has reportedly requested reinforcements in the middle of the park. Madrid have long admired the 20-year-old and he could prove to be a key addition to the squad, having played 43 games for Eintracht Frankfurt this season, scoring six goals across all competitions.
